Adherable systems:
These adherable options can be manufactured in either urethane
or melamine foam. Urethane foam should only be considered for
areas that do not require low fire rating materials. Urethane
foam products should probably not be considered for public access
spaces.
Melamine foam enjoys excellent fire ratings and may be considered
for all applications.
Applications for these systems include walls and ceilings in
community, church and multi purpose halls, audio and video conference
facilities, communal dining and recreation areas, cafes, restaurants,
music and vocal practise areas, auditoriums, lecture theatres,
classrooms and as an alternative to suspended ceiling systems
in commercial office spaces.
All of these options can be installed using standard commonly
available construction adhesives and are easily cut and fitted
at site.
Sonex:
Sonex, one of the best known acoustic absorbers
in the world. It’s anechoic wedge shaped profile is recognised
internationally and whilst it is most popular in applications
involving professional audio it is finding markets in other areas
as it’s profile and performance becomes popular with interior
designers in more commercial applications.
Pyramid:
An alternative profile to the Sonex “wedge”
for those who prefer something different.
Plano Bevel:
A “flat” sheet product that easily
stands alone or can be used in combination with either Sonex or
Pyramid profile to break up the frenetic patterns of these and
create a really different look. This style has a bevelled edge
for a tidy finish at the joins.
