Willseal 600/55:

Willseal acoustically rated gap and joint sealing tape.
Flame retardant, permanently flexible, vapour permeable, clean and safe to handle, fills uneven joint flanks reliably.

Single 20mm strip: Rating 55STC*
Double 20mm strip: Rating 58STC*

Whilst many other gap and joint sealing systems have been tested as part of overall wall systems Willseal 600/55 has been isolated and tested as an individual element.
This means it’s performance can be assessed individually when considering types of construction and materials.

Willseal 600/55 is an acoustically tested and rated, flame retardant, weatherproof, vapour permeable pre compressed, permanently flexible polyurethane foam joint sealing tape that, when installed into a joint directly from the roll, slowly expands to fill the joint and achieve the desired seal. It may be pre-positioned to one element prior to location or post applied to the gap with equal simplicity.

Being retained under compression and remaining permanently flexible, Willseal 600/55 is capable of sealing uneven joint flanks reliably and responds to any subsequent movement within the surrounding building elements constantly maintaining the integrity of the seal. Apart from the benefit in blocking airborne noise this feature also assists in reducing the transference of structure borne noise and vibration.

Willseal 600/55 is capable of sealing against noise and weather, it also allows entrapped moisture to diffuse. It is resilient to all environmental factors.

On the basis of experience and accelerated laboratory tests a useful life of 20 years is anticipated.

Willseal indicates no specific health hazards in the use handling, application, transportation or disposal of the product. Only the tapered roll ends are unusable and should not be incinerated.

*When installed to manufacturers specification.
